Please note:
For the safety and comfort of our animals, we do not offer pony rides on Giant, as he is a very small mini horse. This experience is designed to be an interactive, hands-on animal visit, not a riding activity.

What to Bring

To make the most of your ranch party, we recommend bringing:

• Closed-toe shoes for all children

• Weather-appropriate clothing (hats, jackets, sunscreen, etc.)

• Decorations, cake, and snacks — tables & chairs are provided *NO BALLOONS (they are a spooking hazard to horses)

• Camera or phone for capturing photos with Giant and our mini donkeys

• Extra patience & smiles — the animals love attention, but we go at their pace!

Tip: All parties are held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.

Recommended ages: All ages welcome!
We find most guests between 3 and 13 years old enjoy the activities best, but children of all ages (and adults!) are welcome to participate in the party and enjoy the animals.

Party Size: Ideal for 7–10 children (contact us for larger groups — we’ll work with you if space allows) Party size INCLUDES the birthday guest of honor.

All party participates must have a Release Form signed by their parents or guardians at the beginning of the party. If a child does not have a signed form, they will not be allowed to participate in the horse related activities.

Outdoor Ranch Party Notice
Pony parties held at Double Heart Ranch are entirely outdoors. While we provide outdoor seating, campfire areas, grills, and a covered porch, we do not have an indoor party space. As we live and work on the ranch, all activities take place outside — please plan and dress accordingly for the weather.

Weather Policy:
All parties are held outdoors. In the event of extreme weather, we’ll work with you to reschedule when possible.

Please Note: Giant the Mini Horse participates in petting and interaction only and is not used for riding.
